Career Day

It was the 2nd Grade Career day at school on Friday, and Chloe and Samuel knew exactly what they wanted to be!

Meet Chloe the Veterinarian! She decorated her scrub top with paw prints, wrote Dr. Haupfear on the pocket, and brought in her "pet" who had a broken leg. She even made her pet one of those collars animals wear so they can't lick their wounds. Too clever! Wise words from Chloe: when grandma told her that being a vet can be sad if the pet dies, Chloe says, "well, at least I know I will have helped them the best I could".

And now for Samuel... Meet the Pacific Whale Foundation Scientist! Yes, he is a little more specific in his career goals, but I guess since he has his own whale website, that was to be expected. He donned a lab coat and various borrowed scientist beakers and things from Dad's work. He even made himself a PWF nametag. By the way, his best friend Noah, dressed up exactly the same!

How fun!! Viggo dressed up as a pastor for career day at preschool (which was conveniently scheduled on Halloween . . . hmmm). I am especially excited about Samuel's chosen career. Blue whales are my favorite animal :) He can study them, and Chloe can treat them. They'll make a great team!
